Tennis is my life. Since I was 3 years old, I can't imagine life without a racket and a ball. On my tennis journey so far, I have been able to gain a lot of experience as a player and coach, which I am happy to pass on.

My career - From the birth till now

First word was "ball"
About 1 year after I was born, my first word was not "mom" or "dad" but "BALL". My mother always likes to tell this story =)

In 1992 I played my first tournament. I played against older players, but lost all the games. For this I received my first cup "unlucky of the day", which I still have in my living room.

First successes
It should not remain with the unlucky one. In my youth, I was several riders youth district & district champion and won some youth tournaments Germany-wide.

At the age of 16 I started to get more and more interested in tennis training and completed the youth assistant coach at the Hessian Tennis Association.

On 26.05.2000 I celebrated my second life when after a class trip a semi-truck drove into our standing coach on the highway directly into my back. By a miracle no one was killed. I suffered severe bruises and cuts. That was the end of the season.

Decision against tennis pro
After many successful years as a junior, I was ranked 230th in the German men's rankings. Nevertheless, at the age of 18, I decided that I would rather pursue the profession of tennis coach than pursue a career as a professional tennis player.

Subsequently, I completed the DTB C-Trainer course, which I passed - with a small re-examination in the biological part =) - but top marks in the practical part. I started my coaching activities at the local tennis club Korbach and later at the SGT Baunatal.

I gained further coaching experience and decided to take the B coaching license at the Hessian Tennis Association in 2010. This time I passed without any detours.

Men's indoor district champion & commitment in Eschwege
In 2014, I won the men's indoor district championships. I also moved to TC 51 Eschwege in the men's national league and played there for a few years at a good level.

Men National League 30
In 2015, I switched to the Men's Bundesliga 30 and played there until 2021. Every year, we managed to stay in the class. In 2016, we finished first in our group and then played in the "Final-4" for the German championship title. Unfortunately, a herniated disc in my cervical spine stopped me, so I could not participate in the final.

Youtube channel launch
On 20.11.2019 i uploaded my first Video on Youtube, with the goal of helping other trainers with tips and sample exercises.

The first 1000 subscribers
It took me about 6 months to get my first 1000 YouTube subscribers. Until then I had produced about 50 videos.

Bundesliga team resolution - 250 videos on youtube
2022 the board of ST Lohfelden decided to withdraw the Bundesliga team. Very sad, I would have liked to play 1-2 more years at this level.
